LGA HIRES NEW DIRECTOR OF MEMBER SERVICES

February 12, 2010 -- Lafayette, LA -- The Louisiana Golf Association is pleased to announce a new addition to its full-time staff.  Lee Rainwater has recently been hired as the Director of Member Services, and will address some of the vital functions of our organization.  His primary roles will be to serve our member clubs and individual members in the areas of course rating and handicapping.  In addition, Lee will oversee our web-site and continue to improve the way we communicate with Louisiana’s golf community. 

We are certainly proud to say that Lee is a native of Louisiana.  He attended West Monroe High School and graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Business Administration.  Lee also earned a M.B.A. and Master’s in Sport Management from the University of Southern Mississippi.  His experience in the golf industry includes a combined six years at Pine Hills and Calvert Crossing, now known as Southern Pines Golf Club.  Also, he served as an intern for the Under Armour College Golf Combines.  Lee’s interests include playing golf, following the New Orleans Saints, and staying close with family and friends.
