LGA WELCOMES NEW BOATWRIGHT INTERN, PATRICK NEUNER

At the end of May, Patrick Neuner joined the LGA staff as this year's USGA PJ Boatwright Intern. Patrick, a recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame, hails from St. Louis, Missouri.

Having grown up around the game, Patrick is extremely excited to be a part of the LGA staff, and is looking forward to the numerous opportunities that the Boatwright internship provides in the world of golf. He spent last summer working at the 2007 PGA Championship at Southern Hills, and many summers before then working as a caddie in St. Louis. Patrick expects a smooth transition joining the LGA in Lafayette, and he is looking forward to an exciting and rewarding 2008.

"The LGA is extremely pleased to bring on board Patrick to the team. He brings a wonderful golf and educational background to the association and we believe he will be a fantastic asset to the organization.", said Assistant Executive Director Kevin Jones.

Patrick's internship with the LGA will keep him around until Mid-December.
