December 8, 2011 – Lafayette, LA – The LGA has unveiled its new "My LGA" information portal. The "My LGA" portal is prominently displayed on the LGA's website homepage at www.LGAgolf.org. The portal, available to all LGA members that participate in the LGA Handicap Network (LHN), is where members will go to post a score, register for a Championship, register for a seminar, etc……anything a member needs to do relative to the LGA may be done via the "My LGA" portal.

Members will be pleased to know that they will only need one username and one secure password to perform any task associated with the LGA. For those individuals that have previously posted scores online, their username and password will remain the same when initially logging into the system. For those never having posted a score online, their initial username will be their former 8-digit LGA Handicap Network number (that number can be located on the December 1st e-revision or handicap label). Their initial password will be their last name. The first time one logs onto the "My LGA" portal, however, the system will force the individual to change their username and password. The LGA is encouraging its members to use their email address as their username as all email addresses are unique.
