The LGA conducts nine (9) championships each year as well as the US Mid-Am Qualifying event. LGA members are welcome to participate in any of the championships as long as they have a current USGA Handicap Index and meet the eligibility requirements. Our flagship event, the Amateur Championship, has been conducted by the Louisiana Golf Association since 1920. The most recent tournament to be added to our schedule is the Net Amateur Championship, which was established in 2000.
